CASPER, Wyo. (WKRC) – A 30-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found dead in a vehicle on Casper Mountain Road Sunday morning.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:20 a.m. after reports of a vehicle that had exited the roadway. They located the car with its sole occupant, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Casper Police Department.
The Natrona County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Kandice Gunter. Authorities confirmed she had been missing since October 29. The circumstances surrounding the crash and the cause of death are under investigation, but officials reported no signs of foul play or other individuals involved.
Gunter had relocated to Casper from Nevada about a month prior to her disappearance in order to be closer to her children. The investigation remains ongoing.
