A Moberly man was hospitalized following a vehicle crash in Randolph County on Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 1:11 p.m. on U.S. 63 in Cairo. According to the crash report, a 2010 Toyota Sienna failed to yield to a 2006 Harley Davidson, resulting in the motorcycle striking the minivan.
The driver of the Toyota, a 43-year-old woman from Madison, suffered no injuries. However, the motorcycle operator, an 18-year-old man from Moberly, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
MSHP reported that the Toyota driver was wearing her seatbelt, while the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
