A Boonville man suffered serious injuries Saturday evening in a crash involving a go-kart and a dirt bike in Cooper County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred just after 5:25 p.m. on Rocheport Road, east of Highway 98.

Troopers reported that a 33-year-old Boonville man was driving a Murray go-kart westbound when he stopped in the roadway for an unknown reason. A 15-year-old boy from Boonville, riding a CRF 300F dirt bike, then collided with the back of the go-kart.
