ADAMS COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Sept. 16, 2026, at 6:39 p.m. on US95.
Authorities reported that a 50-year-old male from New Meadows lost control of a 2017 Harley-Davidson while traveling northbound at milepost 173.4. The motorcycle crossed into oncoming traffic, veering off the roadway before crashing into the southbound shoulder.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a helmet. The northbound lane was closed for approximately five hours to facilitate the investigation and response efforts.
