BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho — A McCammon man died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 on March 13.
Idaho State Police (ISP) responded to the incident at milepost 67 around 2:41 p.m., where a 31-year-old male was operating a 2021 Indian Motorcycle Co. Chieftain. According to an ISP press release, the rider lost control and collided with the guardrail, suffering fatal injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
The interstate was closed for approximately 2.5 hours as authorities worked to clear the area. The victim's identity has not yet been released, and the investigation is ongoing, ISP officials stated.
