Rye Brook, N.Y. – Six people were injured in a wrong-way crash that occurred early Monday morning near Rye Brook.
According to the police, the accident happened on Hutchinson River Parkway near Lincoln Avenue just after midnight.
A 75-year-old was driving a car the wrong way when he collided head-on with a car carrying a family of five.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The five occupants of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
