One person injured in two-car crash in Noyac on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on September 2, at the intersection of Deerfield Road and Middle Line Highway. A silver Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with a black Mercedes SUV, resulting in at least one confirmed injury.
Authorities reported that the injured individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Emergency responders from the Southampton Fire Department and Southampton Town Police were on the scene to manage the situation and assist victims.
The collision caused significant damage to both vehicles, leading to the temporary closure of one lane in each direction. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the vehicles involved.
