Multiple Vehicle Collision on I-70 Near Oak Grove Injures Several
OAK GROVE, Mo. — A multiple-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 70 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in several injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident involved four vehicles traveling westbound. Emergency responders, including the Oak Grove Fire Department and AMR, arrived on the scene to provide medical aid. Witnesses reported that at least two individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals.
Authorities confirmed that the westbound lanes were reduced to one lane for nearly two hours while cleanup efforts commenced. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway. No fatalities have been reported at this time. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.
