Allendale Township, MI. – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Monday evening in Allendale Township.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened near the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 60th Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
A 21-year-old Okemos woman was attempting to turn westbound onto Michigan Drive from 60th Avenue when she collided with a 2021 Chevy Silverado driven by a 48-year-old Coopersville man.
The impact of the collision sent the Silverado into eastbound traffic where it collided with a 2015 Toyota Tundra driven by a 65-year-old Zeeland, which then struck another car driven by a 39-year-old Allendale woman.
The Zeeland man and his passenger, a 71-year-old woman, were both injured and taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
