HEBER, Utah (KUTV) — An 18-year-old driver died in a collision with a FedEx semi-truck on State Route 40 on Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred near milepost 15, just north of Heber City, at approximately 2:41 p.m. According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, Aiden Lee Keele was driving east in a 2003 Dodge Ram when he crossed into the westbound lane and struck the semi-truck.
Authorities confirmed that Keele was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported, and no further details are currently available regarding the investigation or road conditions.
The eastbound lanes were temporarily closed for emergency response and investigation.
