GREENACRES, Fla. (CBS12) — The NTSB is currently conducting recovery operations following a Learjet 60 crash in Greenacres on Nov. 1.
Excavation efforts began late Wednesday and are ongoing. Recovery teams have retrieved a portion of one engine, with debris located away from the crash site, including on the roofs of nearby structures.
All collected wreckage is set to be transported to a secure facility for further analysis, according to the NTSB.
Authorities advise citizens not to touch or move any found debris. Those who locate materials are encouraged to contact the NTSB via email at witness@ntsb.gov for safe recovery arrangements.
