17-Year-Old Dies After Being Ejected from OHV During Dangerous ‘Donuts' in Garden City.

GARDEN CITY, Utah (KUTV) — A 17-year-old girl from California died following an off-highway vehicle crash on June 19, according to the Utah Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division.

The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. when four teenagers were performing “donuts” in the parking lot of Heritage Park, leading to the vehicle overturning. The victim, seated in the back, was from the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt or helmet.

Despite emergency responders' lifesaving efforts, the girl was at the scene.

Authorities thanked Intermountain Health Lifeflight, the Rich County Sheriff's Office, Rich County EMS, and the Garden City Fire District for their rapid response. The agency extended condolences to the victim's family and friends.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
