Motorcycle Crash in Manchester Claims Life, Leaves One Injured
MANCHESTER, CT – A motorcycle crash on Interstate 384 East late Friday night resulted in one fatality and one injury.
According to State Police, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. when a 22-year-old man from Manchester struck the rear of a Chevrolet Equinox. Both the motorcyclist and his passenger, 21-year-old Sariah Isabelle Miranda of Manchester, were ejected from the motorcycle during the collision.
Authorities reported that while sliding on the highway, Miranda was struck by another vehicle. Both individuals were later transported to the hospital; the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, while Miranda's injuries were deemed serious.
Miranda was subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
