Woman Killed in Sauk County Collision Involving Deer
TOWN OF GREENFIELD, Wis. (WKOW) — A 29-year-old woman from Baraboo was killed Wednesday night after a deer collided with her vehicle on Highway 33.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 8:35 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle struck a deer. The animal then entered the windshield of Brianna C. Espinoza White's westbound vehicle, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
The impact caused White to lose control, veering off the road and crashing into a house. Fortunately, no occupants inside the residence were injured.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and further details regarding the road conditions or other contributing factors have not been released.
