TOWN OF EMMET, Wis. (WKOW) — A serious motorcycle crash occurred late Friday night on County Road CW.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the incident involved a single motorcycle that veered off the road and collided with a telephone pole. The 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound at the time of the accident.
The 42-year-old male driver from Oconomowoc was ejected from the motorcycle and later located by a passerby. Authorities reported that he sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was initially taken to Watertown Regional Medical Center by Watertown Emergency Medical Services. He was subsequently airlifted to Aurora Medical Center Summit.
The driver's name is being withheld as the investigation is ongoing.
