McHenry County, IL. – A woman and her child were injured in a collision near Harvard in McHenry County on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Harvard Fire Protection District, the accident happened around 4 p.m. at Route 23 and Streit Road.
A small sports utility vehicle and a sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
A woman driving the SUV was treated at the scene and released, while the child was transported to Mercy Harvard Hospital with moderate injuries.
The teenage driver of the sedan was transported to Javon Bea Hospital—Riverside in Rockford with moderate injuries.
