Effingham, IL. – A man was killed in a head-on collision on Saturday morning in Effingham.
According to the police, the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Jaycee Avenue
A 2024 GMC pick-up truck towing a camper reportedly collided head-on with a 1999 Dodge Durango.
The 41-year-old man driving the Dodge Durango was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck and a passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
