A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 45 in Jackson resulted in four injuries, including one person in serious condition.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. today near the intersection with Broadway. Emergency responders from the Jackson Fire Department and the Madison County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene shortly after the crash.
Authorities confirmed that three cars were involved in the collision. Two individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a third individual, a 25-year-old male, was reported in serious condition.
Multiple lanes of Highway 45 were temporarily closed to facilitate emergency response and vehicle removal. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
