NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A single-vehicle crash on Tuesday night resulted in the death of 32-year-old James Spiceland of Old Hickory.
According to the preliminary investigation, Spiceland was driving a 2011 Mazda M3 northbound on Old Hickory Boulevard when the vehicle left the roadway in the 4000 block.
Authorities said the Mazda struck a fence before colliding with a tree. Spiceland was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators reported no evidence of impairment at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
