HEBER, Utah (KUTV) — A fatal accident involving a FedEx truck occurred on Highway 40 Monday evening, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle crash happened near mile marker 50, prompting lane closures. One lane remained open for both northbound and southbound traffic as emergency crews addressed the situation.
Authorities confirmed the involvement of a student from Wasatch Alternative School; however, additional details regarding the individual have not been released due to privacy concerns.
Emergency services were on the scene, and the Utah Department of Transportation warned drivers of significant delays between Park City and Heber.
