A Chocowinity man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening, according to officials.
Washington Police and Washington Fire-Rescue responded at 6:38 p.m. on September 14 to West Fifth Street and Clark's Neck Road.
Authorities found a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The driver, identified as 50-year-old Mark Tripp, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is being conducted by the Washington Police Department with assistance from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
