A 29-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital following a motorcycle crash in Morgan County on Friday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 7:50 p.m. on Old Five Road, north of Leatherman Road.
According to authorities, a 2016 Ford Explorer crossed the center line and collided with a 1991 Kawasaki ZGI1200 motorcycle.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was subsequently airlifted for medical treatment.
The driver of the Ford, an 85-year-old man from Versailles, was uninjured.
MSHP confirmed the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, while the Ford driver was wearing his seatbelt.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. No additional details regarding road conditions or traffic impact were released.
