Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-70 Near Kansas City Results in Lane Closures
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 15 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Thursday, causing significant lane closures.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the collision. Emergency services responded promptly, including local law enforcement and medical teams. Witnesses reported traffic congestion in the area as first responders worked to clear the wreckage.
As of 3:30 p.m., at least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, the extent of injuries has not been confirmed. Authorities have not reported any fatalities at this time.
