London Man Dies in Three-Vehicle Crash on Hal Rogers Parkway
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — A London man is dead following a three-vehicle crash on Hal Rogers Parkway on May 30, according to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities reported that 28-year-old Nathan McCart was riding a 2025 Triumph motorcycle eastbound when a 2026 Chevrolet Equinox pulled into his path. The collision occurred at the intersection of White Oak Road, approximately five miles west of London, at around 10:15 p.m.
A teenager driving the Equinox was westbound on Hal Rogers Parkway and reportedly initiated a left turn from the median, colliding with McCart's motorcycle. The impact caused the Equinox to strike a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, which was stopped at the White Oak Road stop sign.
All three drivers were transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for medical treatment. McCart arrived in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, while the other two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Laurel County Sheriff John Root confirmed that the crash is under investigation. Detectives from the Laurel County Sheriff's Office reconstructed the crash site on June 2.
