Two teenagers and an infant were involved in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Franklin County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. as a 2015 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Enochs Knob Road, west of MO 185.
The driver, a 16-year-old male, lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
A 17-year-old boy and an infant in the car suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington.
MSHP confirmed that none of the teenagers were wearing seatbelts during the incident. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
