LAS VEGAS — Two individuals died in a single-vehicle crash involving excessive speed on Grand Teton Drive on Sunday evening, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 7:10 p.m. to a location about a quarter-mile east of Aliante Parkway. Upon arrival, they discovered a 2016 Ford Taurus had left the roadway and struck a tree.
A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male driver was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities believe speed was a significant factor in the accident.
