LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A pedestrian died following a crash on Flamingo Road near Paradise Road on Monday, March 9, at 10:33 a.m.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a 2014 Hyundai Accent was traveling east on Flamingo Road when the pedestrian crossed the street outside of an implied crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they later succumbed to injuries.
Authorities reported that the driver remained at the scene and that impairment is not suspected. This incident marks the 26th traffic-related fatality within the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction in 2026.
The investigation is ongoing.
