Traffic Accident on Route 93 Leads to Serious Injuries
BOSTON, MA — A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Route 93 northbound near Exit 20 at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, resulting in at least two serious injuries.
According to authorities, the crash involved three vehicles, including a sedan and two SUVs. Witnesses reported that one of the SUVs overturned during the collision. Emergency medical personnel from the Boston Fire Department arrived promptly, providing aid to the injured.
As a result of the incident, two lanes of Route 93 were closed for approximately an hour, causing significant traffic delays. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police. No fatalities have been reported at this time.
