Milford-Harrington Highway Crash Claims Third Life
A crash on Milford-Harrington Highway on June 26 resulted in a third fatality, as a driver succumbed to injuries sustained during the incident.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. when a Mustang, traveling westbound at a high rate of speed, struck a Nissan Rogue that had just turned onto Milford-Harrington Highway from Church Hill Road. According to police, the Mustang collided with the rear of the Nissan, causing it to rotate, overturn, and strike a utility pole, leading to a fire.

Mark Yancey, 60, and his wife, Jana Yancey, 62, both of Yorktown, Virginia, were at the scene. Eric Lynch, 36, of Harrington, the driver of the Mustang, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died on July 1.

The roadway was closed for approximately four hours for investigation and clearance. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has video evidence to contact Master Cpl. J.
