Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 1 near Milton on November 25 at 3:04 p.m.
According to police, a Honda Accord, driven by a man from Viola, failed to stop at the stop sign on Union Street Extended. The vehicle entered the southbound lanes of Route 1, where it was struck by a Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a 49-year-old man from Philadelphia.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Honda was uninjured, while the Volkswagen driver and his four passengers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for approximately one hour, and the crash investigation is still ongoing, police stated.
