A 12-year-old e-bicyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a parked vehicle in Kapolei this morning, authorities said.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded at approximately 7:13 a.m. on Kapolei Parkway. The rider was reported to be wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Paramedics treated the boy for significant arm and leg injuries, providing advanced life support at the scene. He was subsequently transported in serious condition to a nearby emergency room.
