KANEOHE, Hawaii (Island News) — Two men were hospitalized following a head-on collision on Kamehameha Highway in Kaneohe on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at approximately 4:50 p.m.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the crash involved two vehicles and occurred just north of Pulama Road. A 66-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were transported to a local emergency room in serious condition; the specifics of their injuries have not been disclosed.
The Honolulu Fire Department responded to the scene earlier, at 4:42 p.m., to assist with auto extrication. Both men were treated on-site before being taken to the hospital.
