Tiger Woods Faces DUI Charges After Car Crash.

JUPITER ISLAND, Fla. — Golfing legend Tiger Woods was booked into the Martin County Jail on Friday afternoon following a crash.

The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. on South Beach Road, just minutes from Woods' home. According to authorities, Woods was attempting to overtake a truck hauling power washing equipment when he collided with it, causing his to flip over. Neither driver sustained injuries.

Woods faces charges of DUI with property damage and refusing a urinalysis test. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, but no medical aid was required.

Reaction from the community has been mixed. Talbot Sutter, a local resident, expressed relief that Woods was not seriously hurt. “It's insane,” he said, highlighting Woods' family ties in the area. Others shared concerns based on Woods' past incidents.

Dawn Brown noted, “Unfortunately, I would have to say I was not surprised just because of the history.” Since 2009, Woods has been involved in three major accidents, including a 2017 incident where he was found asleep in his vehicle under the influence of prescription drugs.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash, and further updates are expected as the situation unfolds.
