Three Killed, Two Injured in Crash on FM 1187 in Tarrant County

Three people were killed, and two others were critically injured in a major crash on Farm-to-Market Road 1187 in Southwest Tarrant County on Monday night.

According to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. near Ben Day Murrin Road, involving four vehicles, including one that caught fire. Deputies arrived to find multiple critically injured individuals.

Paramedics reached the scene within four minutes, with bystanders assisting in rescuing victims from the burning vehicle. As of Tuesday morning, the identities of the deceased have not been released; they will be disclosed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office after family notifications.

Authorities stated that the Traffic Investigations Unit is currently investigating the crash. FM 1187 was closed overnight but has since reopened at approximately 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. Further details will emerge as the investigation continues.
