Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45 in Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 45 resulted in four individuals suffering injuries on Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
The accident occurred at 2:41 p.m. along the northbound lanes near the Smith Street exit. Two sedans and a pickup truck were involved in the incident. Emergency responders from the Houston Fire Department arrived on the scene to provide medical assistance.
Three individuals suffered minor injuries, while one person sustained more serious injuries. All were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
Authorities reported that the accident caused significant traffic delays, with multiple lanes closed for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared. Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles involved.
