COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. — A crash early Saturday morning on Old Red Star Road near the Copiah-Lincoln county line resulted in three fatalities.
According to the Copiah County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Investigators reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a tree, which ignited the truck in flames.
There were four passengers in the truck at the time of the accident. Authorities confirmed that three individuals died due to the crash. Emergency responders from local agencies attended the scene to manage the situation.
