PLATTE — A 21-year-old man from Belle Fourche died in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports the incident occurred at 11:22 p.m. on Highway 1804, approximately 10 miles southwest of Platte. A 2023 GMC Sierra K1500 Denali was traveling southbound when it left the roadway, struck an approach, became airborne, and overturned onto its roof.
The driver, whose identity has not been released pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
