KANSAS CITY, KAN. — One adult and six children under age 12 were injured in a two-car crash on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of 17th and Wood Streets. Authorities reported that the crash involved a sedan and an SUV, impacting the vehicle's side.
Emergency services responded promptly, transporting the injured to local hospitals. The adult victim's condition is currently unknown, while the children are reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
