Traffic Collision in Downtown Kansas City Leaves Two Injured
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle collision occurred at 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of 10th Street and Main Street.
Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries. Emergency responders from the KANSAS CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT and KANSAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT arrived at the scene to provide medical aid.
The injured parties were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the KANSAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT. Witnesses reported that the crash caused significant traffic delays in the area.
All eastbound lanes on 10th Street were closed for approximately one hour as crews worked to clear the site and conduct an investigation. The KANSAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT is currently looking into the cause of the accident, with no charges filed at this time.
