A 17-year-old boy died in a rollover crash on Dickerson Pike on April 5, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Authorities confirmed that the victim was driving a Tesla when he lost control, crossing multiple lanes of traffic before striking a concrete pole.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. and involved only the Tesla. There were no signs of impairment, and the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
The medical examiner is currently working on identifying the victim. No other injuries were reported.
The MNPD is conducting an investigation into the crash.
