Delaware State Police Investigate Fatal Crash Near Lewes

LEWES, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal single- crash that occurred at 12:20 a.m. on April 26.

A Ram was traveling southbound on Wil King Road, just south of Kendale Road, when it left the roadway, crashed into a ditch, overturned, and struck a tree. Authorities said the driver, a 27-year-old Lewes man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
