BOLIVAR COUNTY, Miss. — A pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning in Cleveland.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Terry Ramiz was hit by a Chrysler 300 driven by 44-year-old Tywanna Dentmond. The incident occurred on a local roadway shortly after 6:00 a.m. Troopers reported that Ramiz died at the scene, while Dentmond was uninjured.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but no medical aid was needed for the driver. The lane was temporarily closed for the investigation.
