HAZLEHURST, Miss. — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on Lilly Road.
According to the Copiah County Sheriff's Department, the collision involved two vehicles that crashed head-on. Eighteen-year-old Kenzavion Brown, who had recently graduated from high school, was driving a 2013 Ford Mustang at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's department is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Further details regarding other potential injuries or the status of the second vehicle involved have not been confirmed.
