LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night near Sunset Park.
The incident occurred around 8:11 p.m. on Eastern Avenue, south of Warm Springs Road, as confirmed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Authorities reported that the pedestrian was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk when a 2025 Toyota RAV4, exiting a private drive, failed to stop in time.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Sunrise Trauma with critical injuries. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene, showed no signs of impairment, and is cooperating with officials.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section is leading the ongoing investigation.
