Fatal Pedestrian Accident Occurs on Highway 131 in Scott County
Scott County, KY — A pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision on Highway 131 on Friday, October 20, at approximately 7:45 p.m.
According to Scott County officials, the incident involved a Chevrolet sedan and a pedestrian. The driver of the Chevrolet was uninjured. Authorities confirmed that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
Emergency responders, including local law enforcement and medical services, were dispatched to the scene. The northbound lanes of Highway 131 were closed for approximately two hours during the investigation and cleanup.
