COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Ohio State University early Sunday morning.
According to Columbus Police, the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on East 11th Avenue. A vehicle traveling westbound struck an adult pedestrian.
The victim was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, authorities said. The driver and five passengers fled the scene without contacting emergency services or checking on the victim's condition.
