Man Dies in Pedestrian Crash in Mid-City
MID-CITY, NEW ORLEANS — A man died in a pedestrian crash late Tuesday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Tulane Avenue and Norman C. Francis Parkway around 11:41 p.m. Emergency Medical Services declared the man dead at the scene.
Investigators reported the man stepped off the curb into the path of an eastbound vehicle on Tulane Avenue. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
