HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A driver was revived by deputies after being found unconscious during a crash response on I-4 on Wednesday.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the incident unfolded when a deputy checked on those involved in a crash. The deputy discovered a woman unresponsive behind the wheel of her vehicle.

Authorities reported the woman was not breathing and lacked a pulse. A second deputy quickly arrived to assist. Together, they removed her from the vehicle and initiated CPR, while one deputy deployed a defibrillator.

Deputies continued life-saving measures until Fire Rescue crews arrived. The woman was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition.
