Platte County Crash Claims Life of Park Hill Teacher, Four Teens Injured
PLATTE COUNTY, MO – A crash on Highway 152 at 4:15 p.m. on October 5 resulted in the death of Tessa Walker, a 36-year-old teacher with the Park Hill School District, and left four teenagers injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Walker was driving a Dodge Charger when she collided with a Toyota Camry carrying five teenagers. Emergency services transported the four teens, ranging in age from 15 to 17, to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed that Walker was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash resulted in temporary lane closures as investigators examined the area.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. No additional details about the conditions at the time of the crash have been released.
