Jasper County Motorcycle Accident Claims Life
June 10, 2026, 10:30 a.m. CT — A motorcyclist died in a crash Wednesday in Jasper County.
Zachariah Paul Lewis Pollock, 31, of Knoxville, was traveling eastbound on Highway 163 when his motorcycle left the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned, according to a report from the Iowa State Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred between Prairie City and Monroe. The Iowa State Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
